Program opens to help local communities tackle climate change

There are now more opportunities for Tasmanians to take action on climate change in their local community.

Grants between $2,000 to $20,000 are available to Tasmanian organisations, including community groups or not-for-profit organisations, to support a wide range of climate change-related initiatives.

Projects that could be funded under the Community Climate Change Action Grants Program include community clean-up events, climate change education programs, energy efficiency initiatives, and projects that build community resilience to climate change.
