Construction Industry Roundtables

The 2018-19 State Budget announced an unprecedented infrastructure investment of $2.6 billion over the forward estimates period.

To help manage such a significant program, a construction sector roundtable was initiated in July 2018, comprising infrastructure and construction sector peak bodies and skills and training providers.

The roundtable aims to identify opportunities for improving the way government procures its capital and to identify where it may assist in helping to meet any skill shortages in the sector.
