Tasmania’s visitor economy comprises the wide range of industries that provide goods and services to visitors who travel to Tasmania for a variety of purposes including for holidays, visiting family and friends, events, business and education.

The Visitor Economy team in the Department of State Growth provides strategic advice, funding and industry development programs, while also developing key partnerships that support opportunities and challenges of this growing sector.
