Energy Support

Business Energy Efficiency Scheme

The new Business Energy Efficiency Scheme (BEES) subsidises interest payments against loans for commercial and industrial energy customers to improve their energy efficiency and reduce electricity bills. The scheme will cover the full interest costs on loans of up to $10,000 over the first three years and 5 percentage points on loans of between $10,000 and $60,000 over the first three years for customers who currently use more than 150MWh of electricity per year.
